What Veterans need to know about the VA Reconsideration of Value “ROV”
If the Tidewater process didn’t work for your VA loan the VA reconsideration of value is a second chance at a better value for the appraisal. First thing that is needed is data and specifically 3 comparable recent sales that can be sent to the regional loan center (RLC) so the staff appraisal reviewer (SAR) can determine if the value should be adjusted. Second thing is the actual value you would like… pretty straight forward. Next the buyer can email the RLC this data and value or the lender can as well. Either option works.
