PCS’ing in the next 12 months and not sure where to begin? This is how you do it.

If a Veteran or spouse want to buy a home within the next 12 months that is definitely allowable per the VA handbook 26-7. Beyond 12 months is not allowed though. A spouse can occupy the property and meet the primary residence guidelines to get an approved VA loan. Some lenders will not allow being 60 days but others will to occupy the home.
